Our Story

From a Small Dream to Punjab's Premier Institute

The English Gate was born from a simple observation: many talented individuals in Punjab had the skills and knowledge but lacked the communication confidence to showcase their potential.

Founded in 2016 by Mrs. Deepika Sharma, a passionate educator with 15+ years of experience, The English Gate started as a small coaching center with just 10 students. Today, we've grown into Punjab's most trusted English language institute, having trained over 5,000 students across various programs.

Our founder's vision was clear: create an institute where learning English is not just about grammar and vocabulary, but about building confidence, developing personality, and opening doors to countless opportunities.

The Beginning

Started with a dream and 10 students in a small 200 sq ft center in Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar.
